you are what you eat..!


my homemade chicken burger



i've been talking to my friend early this year. we discussed on food intake : a challenge in leading to a healthy life style. awal tahun, tak kisah lah if people say, why u need to start now..why not last year?
ok..i would say at least we realised something very important in our life...food.
ye makanan itu penting. tak kisah la makan untuk hidup or hidup untuk makan. what i know is food makes me happy. kih


FOOD INTAKE


1. choose what we eat. and my friend said..nokkkk..bukan susah. u are not living in the middle of desert..so tak payah cakap lah that the only thing u have is daging unta or pokok kaktus.
we have soooooo many thing to choose around u. ok..when we step into the hypermarket,  thousands we could choose. and why on earth u choose something bad for your body???  as u can choose all the greens, fruits , ayam hidup,  etc..why beli ayam goreng segera?


aku jawab : sebab SEDAP laaaaa.... makan sayur macam makan rumput.


ok...kawan mak ni yang dah practice healthy life style for years says....i never said that u cant eat chicken ngekkkk!  u can! but in moderate  way..plus eat together with vege....kan sedap tuuuu!!
u can have meat..but u dont have to eat a whole cow when u are hungry. kesian perut engkau ok.


aku jawab:  ye laaaa......ye laaa... (terus terencat aku nak mkn steak depan aku nih).


2. portion : kawan mak kata...i always bring my own lunch pack. u tak perlu masak macam-macam sangat. just a simple home made sandwich will do. resepi dia..spread low fat margerin, put slice of tomato, lettuce, piece of grilled chicken, pepper.

aku: kenyang ke??? u makan cuma dua keping roti sandwich tu...


dia jawab:  semuanya ada dalam kepala u lah. we need to put food into our stomach so that jus gaster tak kuar and ko tak sakit perut. and look, its healthy. why nak makan sampai kenyang?????
if u rasa makan 2 keping tak kenyang..4 keping pun belum tentu kenyang..semua tu otak u yang proses maklumat.


aku:  errr..baik.



3. waktu makan: ok..we are normal human being, makan nak sedappp je kan. and we are living in Malaysia yang syorrgaaa makanan, restoran 24 jam everywhere, so this also a contributor which effects our life style. pukul 12 malam teringin nak pegi kedai mamak. pukul 1.30 habis tgk wayang sure nak singgah kedai tomyam laa..mamak la..padahal dalam panggung dah perabih popcorn satu kotak with coke saiz besar .( ok..put the blame on the cinema owner... :) .)

dah jadi habit ye dok. semua nak sedap je.... and rasanya takde pula peraturan dalam dunia mengatakan mesti makan popcorn masa tgk movie. so semuanya berkisar kepada makan..dan makan.

so my friend said ni semua boleh ubah. and dia suggest:

i. jangan makan bukan pada waktu makan (snacking in between meal ok)

iimakanan cuma sedap kat mulut dan tekak, so apesal nak beri perut kita gemuk berlemak makan banyak-banyak.

iii.balance diet. makanan seimbang dari segi nutrisi,protein etc. if kita dah memang berat, we should eat less carbo sekiranya bercita-cita nak turun berat badan.

iv. if ada cita-cita nak ubah gaya makan/ nak turunkan berat..act NOW! not tomorrow, tulat, lusa, tahun depan.

(eh..macam biasa je kita kan..contoh...hari ni hari rabu. weekend karang nak balik kampung. kita akan cakap..Isnin karang lah start diet. wakakakaka...and takdenya Isnin tu start). so kawan mak kata..ko tak usah le berdrama sangat. nak kalu, start esok pagi or u will never start till tahun depan.)

4. bergaul dengan orang yang mempunyai pemikiran positif. penting jugak ni..coz ia salah satu faktor kejayaan. untungnya aku ada kawan macam ni kan. dia duk membebel kat aku pasal food intake. and sometimes kejam gila, whenever we were eating out, well i love to have nice food (read: makanan sedap yg high kalori), dia dengan kejamnya akan cuma order salad daun-daun, low calori food yg sometimes looks like rumput . penat je pi kuar makan, takat nak makan salad ni buang karen je.sobsss.or bila mkn kat kedai mamak, i would love to have nasi daun pisang with fried chicken (ayam goreng kat salam tu so tempting) , tapi dia cuma makan capati sajok. terencat aku nak senduk lauk. so lama-lama aku pun terikut-ikut. makan capati. sedap jugak rupanya. low calori. satu capati kalori adalah 170 sahaja. dan mengenyangkan. :)

UBAH GAYA HIDUP

This is the key of success if we plan to lose weight.

1. makan kena ikut cara di atas dan kira kalori in and out. maklumat semua di hujung jari

2.exercise. if we have time for facebooking or put hours for internet surfing sure we could find at least 30-40 minutes to do some exercise. (wahh...ko senam ke catzzz?? wakakkaka)

kawan catz tu memang put effort (DISIPLIN!!!!) untuk lari atleast 3-4km setiap hari. and rutin bulanan dia, ialah lari 30 km atas threadmill.

wah..kita kan..beli threadmill buat sangkut towel dengan kain dlm bilik. kih.

SOALAN LAZIM

Ok..we ols discussed gak on FAQ regarding to food intake.

one of them is " errr...i memang tak makan nasik lah malam. i makan mee goreng.ok ke"

answer: mee goreng tu lagiiii tinggi kalori berbanding dengan secawan nasi dimkn bersama sayur dan lauk yg sihat. so makan mee goreng tak membantu pun sebab ia lagiii berminyak.

err...kalau makan kuey teow goreng pasar malam tu?

kawan aku: ko nak kena lempang ke??

hahahhaa...kekekkekee.

the formula is makan sedikit tapi kerap kannn? perut pun rasa selesa sbb sempat la hadam sementara masuk new intake.

tapi berkunjung ke office catz & bersarapan 3 bijik limau mandarin adalah sesuatu yang...adoi makkk. pedih perut pastuhh!
